Would you like meaningful work where you make a difference in people's daily lives? We are now recruiting temporary staff for personal assistance within the Department for Support Services. With us, you'll meet children, teenagers, and adults with different support needs and life situations. Your mission is to create security, participation, and conditions for a meaningful everyday life based on each individual's needs and abilities. Work tasks vary between different cases but include personal care, educational support, communication and social interaction support, activities, documentation, and common household tasks. In some operations, work with medical technical aids or extensive care may occur. Medication management according to delegation may be included in your work tasks. You work where the assistance user is, which means you are in the assistance user's home or at activities outside the home. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, weekend, weekday, awake night, or sleeping on-call. As a temporary staff member, you make yourself available in our booking system when you wish to work. When needs arise in the operation, our scheduling planners book you for shifts and you are contacted based on your availability. Qualifications To work as a temporary staff member within support services, you must be at least 18 years old in accordance with regulations on working environment for minors (AFS 2023:2 6 kap. 56, 8 §§). It is a requirement that you can provide a grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1; if not, you may be offered a language test via EducateIt. It is meritorious if you have: education or ongoing education in, for example, support assistant, nursing assistant, care and welfare, pedagogy, or behavioral science experience working within support services, care and welfare, or personal assistance experience working with people with challenging behavior knowledge of low-arousal approach (LAB) and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) experience with medical technical aids, patient transfer, or extensive care B-class driver's license We are looking for someone who puts the individual in focus and treats people with respect, good conduct, and commitment. You take responsibility for your work tasks and collaborate well with others. You also need to be confident in yourself and have the ability to remain calm even in pressured situations. When working in the individual's home: An unopened copy from the police records register is required before an employment offer. You must request this copy yourself using the police e-service.
