WORK TASKS
As a substitute teacher, you are an important part of the school's operations. You step in when regular teaching staff are absent and ensure that students have a safe and educational day. Assignments can vary from individual lessons to full days or longer substitute positions.
In most cases, you work independently in the classroom with lesson plans prepared by the regular teacher. You also collaborate with other school staff to create a positive and structured environment. Sometimes you may be needed as a substitute at the school's after-school program or as an extra resource in the classroom.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old, has a high school diploma with passing grades, and has strong Swedish language skills both spoken and written. You need to be able to work 2-3 days per week and be flexible when needs arise.
We are looking for a positive and committed person who has a passion for learning and feels confident with the responsibility of leading a class. It is a merit if you are a certified teacher or have previous experience as a substitute teacher, but the most important thing is your willingness to create a safe and educational environment for students.

To neighboring municipalities you travel quickly; to Arboga, Köping, and Eskilstuna it takes approximately 15 minutes, Västerås and Örebro are within 45 minutes, and you can reach Stockholm in one hour by high-speed train.
