Are you interested in working as a teacher in secondary school, primary school, and/or after-school programs? Now you have the opportunity to become part of our substitute teacher pool in Stockholm as we're seeking teacher substitutes for the fall term 2026 with good opportunities for extension. By applying to our substitute pool, you'll have the opportunity to gain experience in one or more of our operational areas (primary school, secondary school, and/or after-school programs). The schools included in this substitute pool are centrally located in Gamla stan, Vasastan, Nacka strand, Långholmen, and Sickla. Job Responsibilities Working as a substitute teacher means supporting the operations as a teacher when needed. This mainly involves short assignments with short notice that can work well for you if you're studying or have other commitments. Practical training for real life and education are the goals—the common thread in how we educate our students. We focus on literature, reading, and writing required for higher studies. We work to ensure our students reach a high level of knowledge and develop their thinking—thinking freely and thinking big—that's education for us! Here students receive practical training for real life through subject specialization and case studies from real-world scenarios. At JENSEN gymnasium, we maintain high quality, confirmed by the School Inspection's quality reviews. Our corporate culture is characterized by high ambitions, professionalism, a health-focused approach, and a stated dress code. We have a positive team spirit where all employees contribute to taking responsibility for the whole. In our latest national employee survey, 93% recommend JENSEN as a workplace! Qualifications We're looking for someone who can teach multiple subjects. It's a merit if you have experience working in secondary or primary school. We also consider it a merit if you're open to working in all areas (secondary school, primary school, and after-school programs). As a person, it's important that you have a strong interest and ability to help others. You're a confident and coaching person who is attentive and clear in your interactions. You're also initiative-taking, pedagogical, and communicative, and you have the ability and willingness to be a leader in the classroom. In the role of substitute teacher, you work independently, but of course with dialogue with a teacher and students at the school. For us, it's important that you can step in with short notice and are flexible with scheduling. Your Application You apply by registering your profile and attaching a cover letter and CV in our recruitment system. We only accept applications online; applications received in other ways will not be processed. We'd like to have your application as soon as possible as selection takes place on an ongoing basis. More information about our recruitment process can be found at https://www.jenseneducation.se/ under "Work with us". The first step in our recruitment process is to complete two work psychology tests (Matrigma and MINT). The test link will be sent via email right after your application is submitted, and you'll receive feedback on the test immediately after completing it. Within preschool operations, school, and school childcare, you must according to Act (2000:873) provide a police certificate for work within the school system. This is requested via the Police's https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/ with digital BankID. You can also order the form by mail, which you should do as soon as possible as it can take time. Note that the police certificate is valid for 6 months. Questions? Feel free to contact our HR partner, Rikard Östrup, at [email protected] if you want to know more about the substitute pool.
