About the Staffing Unit Lerum Municipality's Staffing Unit employs temporary staff to work when regular personnel are absent. This can be for both shorter and longer periods. As a temporary worker, you are employed on an intermittent basis and receive work shift requests on an ongoing basis. Requests may come the same day, but also with longer notice. Through a digital booking system, you indicate your availability and can express interest in work shifts. You will receive an introduction consisting of training and on-the-job mentoring in the activity. Work shifts are scheduled either during daytime or evening hours. If you work evenings, on-call sleeping duty may also be part of the shift, which means you sleep at the workplace. Shift lengths vary, but the minimum is 4 hours. Together, we create a safe and meaningful daily life for each individual on their own terms. About the Role You provide both practical and educational support in daily life. You work closely with care recipients based on their individual needs, wishes, and circumstances. Your work contributes to increasing quality of life, participation, and independence. Your main work tasks include: • Social care and conversations • Personal hygiene and care (for example, showering and toilet visits) • Household tasks such as cleaning and laundry • Medication handling as delegated • Health and medical care tasks in consultation with a nurse • Documentation in the digital system Treserva QUALIFICATIONS Who Are You? If you have relevant education in healthcare and social services, or a child and leisure program with a focus on social work, that is an asset. Previous experience working in healthcare and social services is also a plus. The work tasks include documentation and communication with care recipients, colleagues, and other parties, which requires good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. We place great importance on personal suitability. Driver's License In some activities, a manual B-category driver's license is required.
