We are now recruiting hourly substitutes to fill our substitute pool. Fjällbjörken Preschool is a parent-run cooperative with a pedagogical approach focused on outdoor education and creative activities, where we encourage children to explore on their own. Our facilities are designed to meet our program's needs and are inspired by Reggio Emilia. We have space for 20 children ages 1-5. Our grounds feature a beautiful mountain birch forest where we prefer to spend our days. We work toward sustainable development and want children to develop an appreciation for nature and its cycles. Our fundamental principle is respect for children's thoughts, feelings, needs, and interests.
