Campus Manilla is now seeking hourly substitute teachers for elementary school and after-school programs. About You We're looking for someone who may be training to become a teacher or after-school program instructor. Perhaps you have experience working in after-school care or as a teacher in grades F-9? Your work experience, education, and qualifications will determine which grade levels and subjects you'll be available for. To be hired as a substitute, you'll need to apply for an advertised position. As a substitute teacher, you'll lead instruction independently and create a sense of safety and structure in the classroom. Previous teaching experience and subject knowledge will determine which grade levels and subjects you work with. We also have a need for substitutes in after-school programs. ABOUT US Campus Manilla is operated by the politically and religiously independent foundation Carpe Scientia. The school is run entirely as a non-profit and has the ambition to develop into Sweden's best school. In our beautiful facilities on Djurgården, we have both an elementary school and gymnasium. In total, Campus Manilla has approximately 800 students from preschool through the third year of gymnasium and approximately 110 employees. The school is characterized by a family-like atmosphere with close relationships among students, colleagues, and school leadership. Short decision-making paths give you good opportunities to have a say in and help develop our operations. Campus Manilla's activities are based on high expectations—we demonstrate daily that we expect a lot from our students, and they expect a lot from us in return. We believe in genuine closeness to students, in teachers who are passionate about their subjects, in both education and learning, and in the social benefit this creates.
