JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Hallstahammar Municipality's youth centers conduct open activities with planned activities for the age group 13-17 years. We are now looking for you to support and work as needed as a youth center leader at the youth center in Kulturhuset in Hallstahammar and at the youth center Stationshuset in Kolbäck. Work as a substitute involves being called in as needed by the activities, sometimes with short notice, for example when regular staff are absent or during, for example, summer vacation. Work usually takes place in the afternoon and evening. Saturday work shifts occur. In your work, you will support regular staff in planning, conducting, and following up activities and events in collaboration with your colleagues and young people. You will also have the opportunity to work to strengthen young people's influence and civic engagement. The work tasks include relationship building, prevention, and promotion work. We are looking for someone with experience working with children and young people. You work from a positive and solution-focused approach and are engaged and genuinely interested in developing children and young people. You have a coaching work style and have the courage to be a role model in both fun and tough situations. We collaborate with, among others, schools, child and youth coaches, social authorities, cultural schools, and libraries. QUALIFICATIONS It is advantageous if you have experience working with young people in the age group 13-17 years. We would like to see applicants who are multilingual. You have relevant IT skills and we see that you have a driver's license (Category B). We place great emphasis on personal suitability. As a person, you need to be self-driven and quickly be able to immerse yourself in the activities and take responsibility for your tasks and drive your work forward. You have the ability to come up with new ideas and find innovative solutions. You are clearly adult in your values and actions and act based on these. We would like to see that you have post-secondary education focused on working with children and young people. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, ends: 2026-09-28.
