Within the IT and Communications Service Department, there is a Service Center, IT, and Service Desk. The Service Center is the first point of contact for citizens in Kumla. A simple entry point, with fast service and efficient handling. The Service Center is the hub of the municipality's communication with residents, visitors, and business owners. DUTIES We are looking for someone who wants to work in a workplace with varied tasks in a fast-paced environment alongside positive and professional colleagues. We are located in modern facilities with new technology in the city hall in the center of Kumla. As a Customer Service Handler, you will work within the municipality's Service Center. Your main responsibilities are to provide guidance via phone and reception. A large part of the work consists of phone contact but also personal service at our reception. The Service Center operates on behalf of our administrations and companies to provide service to our residents, visitors, and business owners. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is outgoing and values providing good service. Work at the Service Center requires that you remain calm and confident even in stressful situations. You are a responsible person who works methodically according to our procedures to provide citizens and employees with correct information. To succeed in the role, you must be solution-focused and able to collaborate with colleagues to help our citizens with questions and matters. We are looking for someone who has an interest in advancing the municipality's digital work and who is comfortable working in various systems. We are looking for someone who has: • Completed upper secondary education. • At least 1 year of experience working as a service handler or other work that the employer considers equivalent, such as customer service or technical support. • Experience working in Office 365, telephone systems, and case management systems. • You express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish and English.
