About Gruvan Gruvan is a charming historic post office building located in central Karlstad, next to the Cathedral. The facility has three floors with 11 apartments on each floor. We have a lovely rooftop terrace that we enjoy using when the weather permits. We are a dementia-certified care home, which means all staff members are trained in dementia care and communication through Vardaga's Dementia Academy. We partner with Ung Omsorg, a company where a team of young people ages 14–18 visit us on weekends and holidays. You will have a group manager who spends most of their time working directly with you in the facility. We are constantly working to create new and exciting activities for our residents. Gruvan has an activity coordinator on staff who runs daily activities. Your Experience and Knowledge We would prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant or have previous experience working in elderly care. Good computer skills and documentation experience are also valued. It is important that you are flexible and can quickly adapt to changing situations. Teamwork is essential, and we need someone who is attentive and listens well. Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, are required. However, your CV is not the most important thing. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow.
