About Us Ala sawmill in Ljusne, south of Söderhamn, has been producing wood products since 1854. Here we combine long experience with stable production to deliver high-quality products to both Swedish and international markets. Ala sawmill is part of Stora Enso – a company working with renewable materials and products based on wood and biomass, with the goal of replacing fossil-based alternatives. About the Position We are now seeking hourly substitutes who can work as needed in several parts of our operations: the sawmill, the planing mill, the component factory, and pellet production. As an operator with us, you will be an important part of production where timber is refined into high-quality wood products. The work is practical, varied, and sometimes takes place at a fast pace where you work both independently and together with colleagues. In your day-to-day work you will, among other things: • Set up, monitor, and adjust machines • Continuously check quality in production • Contribute to stable and efficient production flow • Perform minor maintenance • Help create a safe and pleasant work environment Working Hours: Day shift or shift work Work Location: Ala sawmill, Ljusne Employment Type: Hourly / temporary employment as agreed Start Date: As agreed Personal Qualities To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you: • Are safety-conscious and quality-focused • Are thorough and take responsibility • Enjoy practical work where you are on the move • Work well with others and contribute to a good work environment • Are flexible and help where needed Previous experience from sawmills, industry, or production is a merit – but most important is your willingness to learn and contribute.
