JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Måltid Falkenberg operates approximately 60 kitchens, of which approximately 30 are preparation kitchens and the rest are receiving or serving kitchens. We prepare meals for schools, preschools, gymnasiums, and users within SärBo.
As a temporary hourly worker, you will meet different people from day to day at various units within Måltid Falkenberg. Your work may be in a large kitchen with 10 employees and 1,100 portions, or in a smaller or single-person kitchen with around a dozen portions. The job involves variety and challenges.
We are seeking chefs and kitchen assistants to replace regular staff when they are absent. The work involves varying hours, both weekdays and weekends, during daytime.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with restaurant training at the gymnasium level or equivalent, plus experience. You are interested in cooking, engaged, and responsible. As a person, you are flexible and deliver quality work at a high pace. We seek someone with a strong service mindset who can take initiative when unexpected situations arise. You are structured and self-directed.
Your work tasks and workplace will vary, so you need to be open to working at different locations.
If you are applying as a chef, you need appropriate vocational training or equivalent experience.
If you are applying as a kitchen assistant, it is beneficial to have training in food service, restaurant work, or other equivalent education.
A driver's license and access to a car are merits.
You must be able to work independently and have good knowledge of food safety, self-inspection, and special diets.
Your ability to understand and use Swedish, both orally and in writing, must be very good.

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment.
