Alma Assistans is a dedicated company that works in collaboration with clients to provide personalized assistance. We work closely with our clients and know that good relationships are the foundation of well-functioning assistance. We operate throughout Sweden with headquarters in Uppsala and local offices in Gävle, Stockholm, Göteborg, Helsingborg, Jönköping, and Växjö. I am a 43-year-old woman with multiple disabilities seeking a personal assistant who can be my extended arms and legs in everyday life. The role involves supporting me with both personal care and various activities, both at home and outside. It is important that you can help me find the balance between activity and rest – and that you do so with respect, patience, and consideration. I communicate through body language and sign language, and people who know me well usually say that my communication is clear, so it is important that you are attentive, empathetic, and have a good ability to read situations. About you: You are a calm, empathetic, and responsible woman who enjoys working closely with another person. You are solution-focused, positive, and see the value in contributing to someone else's quality of life. Your work tasks may include: Assisting with personal hygiene and daily routines. Participating in horseback riding and swimming – these are two of my great interests. Accompanying me on walks and other activities. Creating structure in daily life and contributing to a secure environment. Meritorious qualifications include: Previous experience in care and healthcare. Knowledge of epilepsy. Valid driver's license. Being smoke-free. You as an applicant are: Responsive and empathetic. Tidy and flexible. A good colleague who enjoys collaboration. Familiar with or curious about alternative communication. I use a wheelchair outdoors and make short transfers with the support of my assistants.
