We are responsible for the operation, rental, and development of over one hundred sports facilities and bookable spaces. The facilities and spaces span a wide range including arenas, ball fields, sports halls, ice facilities, skate and parkour areas, outdoor gyms, track and field surfaces, outdoor recreational areas, meeting rooms, dance studios, and more.
Your Work Tasks
As a temporary worker with us, you will be organizationally part of the IP group that works with sports facilities, indoor facilities, and outdoor sports areas. Among your most common work tasks are:
- establish good relationships with citizens, sports clubs, and schools that use the facilities,
- handle incident reports,
- maintenance work such as artificial turf care, ice maintenance, grass cutting, brush and clearing saw work, snow plowing, and similar tasks,
- supervision of sports equipment,
- simple carpentry and repair work.
Who Are You?
As a temporary worker with us, you need to be able to take work shifts with fairly short notice. The need for temporary workers often arises during evening and weekend shifts due to sick leave among regular staff or when temporary additional staffing is needed. We are therefore looking for someone who has the ability to work under these conditions. We imagine you might be a student, have another part-time job, or for other reasons have the ability to "pick up extra shifts." The facilities are numerous and heavily used, which means you need to be both socially and practically inclined. You learn easily and have good physical fitness as you will mostly be moving around at the facilities. You also have the ability to work independently when required to complete work tasks. You may preferably have a background in sports, through which you have gained an understanding of the activities that take place in our facilities.
Requirements:
- B driver's license
- Swedish in speech and writing
Merits:
- Work experience with maintenance, upkeep, or operation of sports facilities, outdoor environments, or activity spaces.
- Secondary education with practical focus such as construction, electrical, automotive technology, sports profile, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
