Responsibilities
Working as a substitute teacher means supporting operations when needs arise. This primarily involves short-term assignments that work well for those who are studying or have other commitments, but longer-term employment opportunities may also become available for those interested.
We work according to a pedagogical concept we call Training for Reality. Since it is important that our substitute teachers also work according to our pedagogical concept, we will go through this at a potential interview.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with children and young people. It is an advantage if you can teach multiple subjects. You are pedagogical in your approach and feel comfortable in the role as a clear leader. We would like to see that you are studying at a college or university or have a completed degree. Perhaps you are a student teacher and want to gain valuable experience by working as a substitute teacher?
As a person, you are responsible, proactive, and communicative. You have an easy time building good relationships with both students and colleagues and contribute to a safe and positive learning environment. In the role of substitute teacher, you work independently while maintaining close collaboration and ongoing dialogue with the school's teachers and other staff.
For us, it is important that you are able to step in with short notice and are flexible regarding working hours.
Terms
Fixed-term part-time employment (intermittent employment) starting immediately.

You can also order the form by mail, which you should do as soon as possible as it can take time. Note that the criminal record extract is valid for 6 months.
