About the Position
At Odengatan, you will be part of an exciting and educational journey!
Odengatan is a group home for adults covered by LSS target group 1. We work with individually tailored support based on clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal approaches. Odengatan is a specialized residential facility for individuals with extensive care needs and psychiatric comorbidities, such as severe anxiety and self-harming behavior. We are now seeking an engaged temporary substitute at 100% for a three-month assignment, with good opportunities for extension. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.
Together with your colleagues, you will continuously evaluate and adapt your working methods to serve the individual's best interests. As a residential support worker with us, you primarily work with our residents, though some administrative tasks such as social documentation are also involved. You will be supported by engaged leadership with a team leader present during daytime on weekdays who also manages much of the daily operations, as well as a facility manager.
As a residential support worker, you work with people who need support with their daily living.
In this role, you work with:
- Providing individual support, care, and service interventions
- Planning and implementing activities with the client
- Carrying out delegated health and care tasks
You work both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues.
Who Are You?
- Education as a nursing assistant, special educator, or behavioral scientist
- Experience from similar operations
- Knowledge of low-arousal approaches and clarifying pedagogy
- Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as documentation is a major part of the work
- B-category driver's license
As a person, you are service-oriented, attentive, and accommodating. The position as a residential support worker also requires patience, flexibility, and responsiveness.
