The Care and Services Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, health and medical services, authority functions, commissioning of services, and operates care and services in-house. Welcome to us! Your responsibilities As a nurse in on-call services, you work with patients in home healthcare, care facilities, LSS, and social psychiatry throughout Linköping Municipality. You work with both planned and acute interventions and are responsible for medical assessments, prioritizations, and care measures based on patients' needs. You meet patients in their own homes and at municipal facilities, which provides varied and independent work with broad scope. The assignment includes, among other things, medication management, work with medical equipment, as well as advice and support to care personnel. During work shifts, you collaborate closely with your colleagues. Incoming matters are received by telephone and distributed within the work group, with a special function that handles this so you can focus on the patient. The work suits you if you enjoy making independent assessments, prioritizing, and simultaneously collaborating and supporting others in different situations. As a temporary worker, you work based on the needs of the activity and your own availability. There is an opportunity to work extra as needed, and shifts are scheduled for evenings and nights as well as daytime during weekends and public holidays. Your workplace On-call services are based at Ålerydsvägen 5 and are responsible for on-call services within municipal health and medical care throughout Linköping Municipality. Here, nurses work with different experience backgrounds and competencies, which contributes to a work group with broad knowledge and good collegial support. On-call services in Linköping Municipality operate between 16:00-08:00 on weekdays and around the clock on weekends and public holidays. About you We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and have experience working in the profession. It is a merit if you have experience from municipal health and medical care and telephone advice. For this position, you must have a class B driver's license, good Swedish language skills in speech and writing, and good computer skills. As a person, you are confident and self-reliant and have the ability to prioritize and make decisions even in situations where the pace varies. You work well with others and have a professional and service-oriented approach in your interactions with patients, relatives, and colleagues. Furthermore, you are flexible and adapt easily to changed conditions and different care needs.
