As a temporary nurse, you can work in home care, residential facilities, and disability services. You can vary between different operations and gain experience in multiple areas, or choose to focus primarily on the area that suits you best. You also have the flexibility to work days, evenings, and nights, allowing you to adapt your schedule to your own circumstances and preferences. In residential facilities, you'll meet individuals with varying care needs, including dementia care, short-term care, respite care, and somatic care. In home care, you work in people's own homes and have the opportunity to follow health and care over time. In disability services, you'll meet individuals with different disabilities and contribute to their security, participation, and quality of life. The work is varied and involves both independent responsibility and collaboration with colleagues and other professionals. WORK DUTIES As a nurse with us, you play a central role in creating safe and secure care. Your duties vary depending on the operation and may include: • making independent assessments and prioritizing care needs • planning, implementing, and following up on health and medical care interventions • managing and monitoring medication treatments • collaborating with care staff, physicians, and other professionals • guiding and supporting care staff on medical and nursing-related matters • documenting and monitoring care according to current guidelines and regulations • You work person-centered and base your approach on each individual's needs, preferences, and circumstances. QUALIFICATIONS Basic requirements for the position: Licensed nurse. Very good oral and written Swedish proficiency. Personal qualities: We are looking for someone who is confident, engaged, and solution-oriented with a focus on Borlänge residents' situation. You thrive on taking responsibility, working independently and making decisions, while valuing close collaboration with colleagues and other professionals. You are attentive, flexible, and organized and have a natural ability to build trusting relationships. Meritorious qualifications: Specialist nurse certification. Experience in public health and medical care. Salary form: Hourly rate. Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: By agreement. Working hours: Shift-based.
