We work according to the guiding principles Health and Learning at Torslunda School and have been a certified Generation Pep school since 2021. Torslunda School is also a Practice School that, together with Linnéuniversitetet, trains new teachers and recreation center instructors. This means we have several students in our operations during the training period. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will be responsible for planning, teaching, follow-up, and documentation for a small group of students studying according to an adapted elementary curriculum. Partial mentoring, which includes, for example, contact and collaboration with guardians and co-planning with other colleagues and external contacts. You will be part of a work team consisting of four additional teachers in the primary grades, but as the school is small, we often work across the entire group Grades K-6. Your responsibilities include planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting teaching individually and together with your colleagues. Collaboration with recreation services occurs continuously throughout the school year. We therefore place high demands on your collaborative abilities and being part of a whole. Furthermore, you easily adapt and can maintain focus when conditions sometimes change. You contribute to a good work environment. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher to teach Grades K-3 with teacher certification or similar education, such as K-6, 1-7, special teacher, or special education training. You have a natural interest in children, learning, and development work. You understand the importance of collaboration as an important means of raising the quality of instruction. You have a holistic perspective regarding different learning environments. We expect you to have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents. Based on research and proven experience, you develop and improve both your individual work and your knowledge of collaborative work. To create successful work teams, we are looking for you who are curious, open to different ways of working, and flexible in your collaborative approach. As a person, you have the ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues and can contribute to a good work environment. In your work, you are passionate about and skilled at putting the student in focus. Furthermore, you have the ability to work solution-oriented, structured, and goal-directed.
