Skogsängsskolan is a newly built F-6 school with excellent facilities and a wonderful schoolyard. We have grown in recent years and currently have approximately 460 students organized in a 3-parallel structure. We work together with a focus on collegial learning. We work preventatively to create safety and good conditions for student learning in our multicultural school unit. We use differentiated and language-developing approaches for higher goal achievement. The school has a comprehensive student welfare team including a counselor, school nurse, social pedagogue, special education teacher and special pedagogue, with school psychologist and school doctor available from central student welfare. To create safety and study focus, we place great emphasis on norms, values and good relationships. An important part of this work is our organized and well-functioning recess activities. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES This position will initially be in preschool class. As primary school becomes 10 years in 2028, we are now looking for you to work in the lower grades. As a teacher in the lower grades and preschool class, you are responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating your teaching based on the curriculum. You create a safe and stimulating learning environment where student participation and desire to learn are central. You are a relational leader who builds good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues while maintaining clear structures in your teaching. You are a mentor for students in your class, conduct development meetings and maintain contact with guardians regarding student development in relation to learning goals and social development. With your knowledge and commitment, you help students develop and reach their goals. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who hold a teacher's degree and teacher certification with authorization to teach grades F-3. You may also be nearing the end of your studies and graduating soon. It is advantageous if you have experience teaching in school and are familiar with working according to the current curriculum. You have a good ability to build relationships and can adapt your leadership style based on the situation and student group.
