We are seeking a test developer with expertise in powertrain solutions for a company in Södertälje. You will become part of a team working with motion control and software testing for vehicle powertrains, and work closely with feature developers in a structured, agile environment. This assignment is a great fit if you enjoy hands-on testing work, thorough analysis, and technical discussions with developers in a vehicle development environment. Your Assignment Analyze functional requirements and convert them into test cases and test scripts Perform low-level software testing in HIL and test bench environments Review test results together with feature developers to ensure software quality Plan and coordinate your testing activities within agile sprints Contribute to the team's deliverables according to SAFe Must Have Master's degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or another relevant field Relevant experience in software testing and/or test development Ability to convert requirements into executable test cases and test scripts Knowledge of HIL and test bench-based software testing Ability to organize testing activities and collaborate with developers and other technical stakeholders Fluent English Ability to work on-site in Södertälje throughout the assignment Meritorious Experience with embedded systems in the automotive industry, preferably the company's electrical systems, but not required Knowledge of functional safety and ISO 26262, but not required Programming skills, particularly Python for test automation or test frameworks, but not required Swedish language skills, but not required Driver's license category C or CE, but not required 📍 Scope: 40 hours per week, full-time 📍 Location: Södertälje, on-site 📍 Language Skills: English is required, Swedish is meritorious 📍 Assignment Period: October 12, 2026 to December 23, 2027 How to Apply Does this sound like an assignment for you?
