Would you like to work broadly with testing and verification in a product-focused environment? We are now seeking an experienced test engineer at an established technology company in the Malmö region. Here you will combine practical laboratory work with test planning, analysis, and technical documentation. ABOUT THE ROLE As a test engineer, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting tests of hardware-based products and technical solutions. The work includes functional testing, environmental testing, analysis, and verification. You will follow products through various stages of the development process and collaborate closely with colleagues in areas such as design, electronics, quality, and project management. An important part of the role is also documenting results and contributing to the development of the company's approaches to testing and verification. Example tasks: Plan, coordinate, and conduct tests and verifications. Develop test plans, test instructions, and technical reports. Analyze, evaluate, and present test results. Prioritize test work based on project needs and risk assessments. Develop and validate new test methods and solutions. Adapt or develop equipment for various types of testing. Maintain and improve laboratory tools and instruments. Collaborate with different technical areas to ensure product function and quality. Actively participate in the team's planning, monitoring, and improvement work. You will become part of a cross-functional development team working with advanced technical products. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO Holds an engineering degree in, for example, engineering physics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent. Has at least five years of experience in testing, verification, product development, or other relevant technical work. Has experience planning and conducting tests of physical products or technical systems. Is experienced with technical documentation and report writing. Can communicate fluently in Swedish and English. Enjoys collaborating with people from different technical disciplines. It is a merit if you have experience with any of the following: Mechanical design or CAD. Programming or scripting languages, such as Python, MATLAB, C#, C, or C++. Electronics, mechanics, measurement technology, or environmental testing. Development of test methods, fixtures, or test equipment. Agile or iterative development environments. Risk assessment and structured quality work. We believe you are curious, solution-oriented, and thorough. You enjoy understanding how technical solutions work and like to combine theoretical analysis with practical work. The role is particularly well-suited for you if you appreciate experimenting, troubleshooting, and developing your own solutions. You are communicative and organized, and you feel comfortable taking responsibility for your work and driving test activities forward together with others.
