About the position: As a Test Designer, you will work with test development and verification of software-based functions in advanced military vehicle systems. You will analyze and review system requirements, translate them into concrete test cases, plan verification activities, and follow up on test results and defect reports. The role is technically hands-on and gives you a clear connection between requirements, test cases, and how functions actually behave in test benches and vehicles. You will become part of a department working with system integration and testing, where you collaborate closely with other test designers, systems engineers, and design departments in a supportive and unpretentious team. We are looking for you if: We seek candidates with a technical educational background, preferably in electronics, software, technical physics, computer science, industrial engineering, or equivalent. You have experience designing, executing, and documenting tests and a solid understanding of the interaction between software, electronics, hardware, and signals. Experience with embedded systems, vehicle systems, or electronics-oriented development is advantageous, and you need strong proficiency in both Swedish and English. As a person, you are curious, analytical, and structured. You enjoy diving deep into technical documentation, clarifying ambiguities with others, and taking responsibility for driving your work forward. About the company: A leading player in the development, manufacturing, and support of advanced vehicle systems and defense solutions. Here you will find an open, inclusive, and technology-driven environment with a focus on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement. The company offers many career paths and invests significantly in competence development. You will have the opportunity to work close to the product and see concrete results of your work. Practical information: The position is located in Örnsköldsvik and is part of Xamera's Talent Program, Xamera Talent. The company has chosen to invest extra in you and your personal development. The position is filled on a rolling basis and is full-time with a fixed, market-rate salary and a start date by agreement, taking into account any notice period. As the role is subject to defense confidentiality, an approved security clearance is required. Contact person: Erik Bjärterot Email: [email protected]
