Test Engineer – Vehicles

Work with test validation of vehicles and help ensure that test vehicles are ready for development and verification in Sweden and Europe. Would you like to work closely with advanced vehicle development and ensure that test vehicles function when needed most? As a Test Engineer, you will be an important part of a cross-functional team that supports testing and validation of tomorrow's vehicles. About the role You work in a team responsible for test vehicle lifecycle during the development phase. The role focuses on test validation and handling of inquiries from test vehicle users. You collaborate closely with functions within testing, development, vehicle administration, and logistics. The work includes travel, sometimes for extended consecutive periods in Europe. What you will do Perform test validation in adaptive vehicle testing. Collect and analyze vehicle data through data logging. Document, report, and follow up on issues. Ensure that test vehicles have the correct software baseline and are ready for planned tests. Support coordination of vehicles, materials, and testing activities. What we are looking for Relevant higher education in software, testing, or equivalent experience. Experience with diagnostics and troubleshooting in vehicle environments. Good understanding of vehicle software structure. B-class driver's license. Strong ability to document and communicate technical discrepancies. Technology & Tools CANalyzer or similar diagnostic tools. Data logging and analysis of vehicle data. Issue reporting and case management. Vehicle systems and software baselines. Practical information Location: Göteborg. Work arrangement: On-site. Travel: Travel within Europe is part of the role. Languages: Swedish and English. Mandarin is a plus.
