Terminal Worker / Courier at FedEx (Hourly Position as Needed) We are currently seeking hourly employees who can step in and work as needed each week. Your work hours may be scheduled for one of the following shifts: Monday: 02:30 - 10:00 Evening shift: 17:00 - 22:00 Morning shift: 04:00 - 10:00 Job Responsibilities As a terminal worker at FedEx Express Sweden, you will work with varied tasks related to handling both import and export shipments that arrive by air and truck. Together with the rest of the team, you are responsible for ensuring that daily operations run efficiently and smoothly. The work requires close collaboration with colleagues and the ability to work at a sometimes fast pace. The majority of the work takes place in the terminal's sorting operations, but there may also be opportunities to work as a courier/driver with pickup and delivery of shipments when operations require it. Your tasks may include: Handling pallets and packages Sorting and loading shipments Scanning packages Forklift operation Pickup and delivery of shipments as a courier/driver Cleaning and general maintenance in the terminal Other warehouse and terminal work as needed Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Has at least six months of work experience Holds a valid B-class driver's license and has access to a car, as public transportation to the FedEx terminal in Örebro is limited Has good knowledge of both Swedish and English Has basic computer skills Can manage periods with high workload Is organized and structured Has a positive attitude and good customer service skills Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications It is an advantage if you have: Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or courier operations Valid forklift certification Personal Qualities This position suits you if you are thorough, flexible, and self-motivated. You are a quick learner and thrive in a dynamic work environment with a fast pace. Since the work may involve heavy lifting, it is an advantage if you have good physical fitness. We also value that you are social, cooperative, and contribute to a positive work environment. Additional Information The FedEx terminal is located adjacent to Örebro Airport. The airport is a security-classified area, which means that all applicants who advance in the recruitment process will undergo a security clearance according to the regulations of the Transport Agency. Background check excerpts will be requested. Additionally, a 5-year background check will be conducted as part of the security clearance for work within the airport area. Since the position may also involve work as a courier/driver, a valid B-class driver's license is required.
