JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of our expansion in the Telecom field, we are seeking a driven Telecom Technician/Fiber Technician who wants to be part of Division Teknik's growth journey. In the role of Telecom Technician/Fiber Technician, you will be part of a team working with operations, maintenance, standard improvements, and new construction. Traffic safety is directly dependent on our facilities functioning properly, and therefore the work is responsible with safety always being the top priority.
The position is based in Alvesta.
The role may involve evening, night, and weekend work. There is also the opportunity to work on projects in the field, which may involve travel and work during inconvenient hours.
You will become part of an experienced team and will always work alongside a technician. To thrive in the role, we believe you work well with others, are driven, a quick learner, solution-oriented, and value having fun at work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• Completed upper secondary education in electrical engineering, fiber, or signaling. Preferably with a telecom focus. Or what we assess as equivalent experience
• B driver's license (manual)
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills
It is advantageous if you have:
• Post-secondary education in railway-specific telecom technology
• Experience working with telecom technology in the railway industry
• Experience in data/telecommunications and low-voltage work
• Work experience in fiber technology
• Fiber technology certification
