We are now recruiting, on behalf of an established tech company in Östersund, a Technical Writer who wants to grow into the role of being the link between advanced technology and the people who need to understand and use it. This is not about software or computer systems, but about physical products, vehicles, and mechanical solutions. You don't need to have worked as a Technical Writer before—what matters most is your technical curiosity, your willingness to learn, and your ability to make complex information clear. About the Role As a Technical Writer you will: Document products, systems, and processes in mechanics and vehicles Create manuals, instructions, and training materials Work closely with engineers and project managers to describe how complex technology works in practice Adapt content for different audiences, from technicians to decision-makers This role gives you the opportunity to build broad technical understanding and develop in an area where clear communication is becoming increasingly important as technology itself becomes more complex. Who Are You? You have an engineering degree (civil or technical engineer), preferably in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or related fields. You express yourself fluently in writing in both Swedish and English, and you are curious about understanding how technology works at a deeper level, not just that it works. You enjoy structuring information, making complex contexts understandable, and you thrive on collaborating and learning together with others.
