Do you want to work close to production with advanced automation while driving technical solutions from idea to completion? We are now looking for a technically driven project manager within automation for Production Technology in Markaryd. Production Technology is a function within NIBE AB where we gather all manufacturing-related technology for the NIBE Energy Systems business area. We are about thirty employees who together work on developing, improving efficiency, and automating our production. Now we are strengthening the organization with a technically driven project manager within automation. A Day at Work As a technical project manager within Production Technology, you work with projects from idea to implemented solution, with a focus on automating our manufacturing processes. The projects vary in scope and technical orientation, but have the greatest focus on assembly and testing operations for heat pumps and hot water heaters. This could involve developing and implementing new automation solutions, improving existing processes, or carrying out major investment projects. You are responsible for identifying and driving the activities required to achieve the project's goals. The role is technically close to operations and you are expected to take responsibility for the core technical issues within automation. An important part of the work is PLC programming and electrical design, which in many projects you carry out yourself. In larger projects, external partners may be engaged, and then you are responsible for requirements specification, procurement, and technical management. You have a central role in the contact between technology, production, and suppliers. In larger projects, you coordinate the work together with a project group, have an important role in project steering committees, present decision support documentation, and drive the issues that need to be resolved for the project to reach its goals. Smaller projects you often drive more independently. You will be part of a team with four other experienced project managers within automation, while working closely with other expertise within Production Technology and production. The position is located in Markaryd. Travel to suppliers and other factories within the group may occur. Is This You? We are looking for someone with several years of experience in industrial automation and who enjoys driving technical issues forward in project form. You have a background in control and regulation technology and good knowledge of PLC programming and electrical design. You are experienced working independently in these areas and can translate operational needs into practical, robust, and reliable automation solutions. We would like to see that you also have experience with: - Network-based communication solutions - PLC and OPC communication - Industrial bus systems - Test systems for electrical equipment - Control systems within process industry - Energy efficiency and recovery Experience in any of these areas is a merit, but the most important thing is that you have a strong technical foundation in industrial automation and enjoy solving problems in real production. As a person, you have a great technical interest and are driven by realizing ideas and creating working solutions. You are unpretentious, collaborate well with others, and have respect for different competencies and perspectives. At the same time, you are confident in driving your issues forward and communicate in a direct, clear, and professional manner. You must be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
