Your Role
As a Production Technician, you'll work with planning and preparing work orders for the Mechanical Workshop. The role is important support to the production manager, technicians and workshop, where you contribute to ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently and with the right conditions. You'll be part of a work team of four people with close collaboration and short decision-making paths.
In the role, you will, among other things:
Plan and prepare incoming work orders
Prepare spare parts lists and ensure good inventory management
Source drawings and technical documentation from manuals and systems
Perform technical investigations related to maintenance, work environment and safety
Prepare work instructions and manuals for carrying out work
Collaborate with the mine, processing plant and storage functions regarding material and spare parts supply
The work is characterized by many contact points and varying tasks where you need to be able to handle multiple matters in parallel, prioritize correctly and drive issues forward. You will also participate in follow-up meetings and report progress as well as any deviations or questions.

Requirements for the position:
Secondary school education
Class B driver's license
Good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written
Understanding of mechanical maintenance
Good computer skills
Meritorious:
Experience with planning or preparation within mechanical maintenance
Experience as a mechanic, welder or machine operator
Experience working in a workshop or industrial setting
Knowledge of IFS
