Jelgavas Paula Bendrupa pamatskola, an educational institution of Jelgava city municipality, invites applications for a TECHNICAL WORKER position Job Responsibilities - Perform technical worker duties in accordance with the job description. - Regularly inspect school premises, equipment and fixtures; perform preventive and minor repairs. - Ensure proper functioning of the school's heating, water supply and sewage systems. - Perform glazing work, door and lock repair and replacement. - Fabricate display boards, frames, blanks and simple wood products; perform furniture assembly and repair. - Maintain, adjust and perform minor repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment. - Work with hand and power tools in compliance with workplace safety requirements. - Perform metal processing and simple locksmith, welder, lathe operator and similar work. - Perform painting, spackling, tiling and other repair work during breaks. - Promptly report any damage or safety risks to management. - Comply with school internal regulations and code of ethics. Requirements for Candidates - Preferred experience in construction, repair or technical work. - Knowledge of heating, water supply, plumbing and electrical installation basics. - Ability to work with hand and power tools. - High sense of responsibility, precision and ability to organize work independently. - Knowledge of workplace safety and fire safety regulations.
