Pressing Technologist

Description:

Fixed-term employment with possibility of extension to permanent position, single-shift operation. Start date available immediately or by agreement. Your main responsibilities will include: preparing technological documentation and documentation for new projects; preparing materials for tender procedures for new products and productions and materials for cost calculations; implementing and introducing new technologies and optimizing manufacturing processes; conducting DFMEA, PFMEA as part of a team; distributing technological documentation to relevant workstations; conducting request for quotation procedures for tools, fixtures, machinery and equipment, evaluating them and forwarding materials to the purchasing department; responsibility for archiving external technical drawings including tool drawings and processing technical documentation. The employer expects from you: university/secondary education with diploma in mechanical engineering or technical field, professional experience in the field (automotive background is an advantage), International/European Welding Technologist certificate IWT/EWT - advantageous, knowledge of pressing technology, knowledge of manufacturing documentation and manufacturing procedures, knowledge of standardization and technical drawings, communicative knowledge of German or English is advantageous, active approach to work, goal-orientation and responsibility, flexibility, knowledge of MS Office, driving license category B (active driver).
