Maintenance Technician

A mountain resort in the Šumava region is looking for a maintenance technician to join our team in the maintenance department, who will take responsibility for the operation of the hotel's reservations system. WE EXPECT: - Comprehensive hotel maintenance: Minor craft work of all kinds - from masonry and locksmith repairs to plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry. - Technology management: Inspection of heating systems, gas equipment, ventilation, and cooling units. Maintenance of operational logs and meter readings. - Low-voltage and AV technology: Operation of audio-video equipment in conference rooms (including technical supervision during events) and oversight of TV, data network, and security systems. - Facility care: Maintenance of outdoor spaces and landscaping, snow removal in parking areas during winter, management of technical rooms and storage areas. - Logistics and vehicle operations: Operation and maintenance of company vehicles, procurement of small purchases, and delivery of materials. - On-call duty and assistance: Maintaining technical standby according to schedule and assisting reception with urgent situations (e.g., elevator repairs). REQUIREMENTS: - Manual dexterity: Experience in building maintenance or technical facilities is a plus. - Technical thinking: Ability to understand building technical systems (heating, water, electrical). - Electrical qualification: Valid certification for work on electrical equipment (former Regulation 50, now Government Regulation 194/2022 Coll.) is a major advantage. - Class B driver's license: Active driver for deliveries and purchases. - Personal qualities: Reliability, independence in troubleshooting, flexibility, and pleasant demeanor (you will be moving among guests).
