Do you want to strengthen your team members, develop work methods, and ensure quality for needs-assessed open care services within child and family welfare? We are now seeking a team leader for Dialogcentrum in Borås. The Child and Family Welfare Administration is in an exciting phase where operations are evolving and expanding to meet the needs of residents. As a team leader, you will have a developing and meaningful role where you, together with engaged colleagues, lead efforts to create good conditions for children and families in vulnerable situations. About the Operations Dialogcentrum works with needs-assessed open care services aimed at families with children up to 18 years old living in Borås city. Our services address various needs and meet both acute and long-term needs for support and assistance. We collaborate with both operations within the administration and external partners. As a team leader, you are part of the management team together with another team leader and a unit manager. Together you create good cohesion and a creative, solution-oriented work climate where you have the opportunity to contribute and develop your expertise. Responsibilities As a team leader, you provide close and situation-adapted leadership that builds security and independence. We are currently engaged in exciting group development work where you, as team leader, have an important role. In the operations, you lead and distribute work within the group, conduct regular meetings and case reviews, and monitor workload. You guide work based on a systemic approach and drive the implementation of manual-based methods and procedures. In your role as team leader, you will also work with overall development of operations with a strong focus on children's participation and collaboration. You receive good support in your role while also having the flexibility to independently plan your work time through a favorable flextime agreement. Qualifications We are seeking someone with a degree in social work or another academic degree that the employer considers equivalent. You also have experience in treatment work within child and family welfare. It is desirable if you have basic psychotherapeutic training (level 1), training in relevant evidence-based treatment methods, and have worked with the Signs of Safety approach. Previous experience in leadership or managerial roles is desirable. You are independent, are a resource for colleagues, and have the ability to view the organization from a holistic perspective—where you are part of the management. You have good leadership skills, are professional, and can adapt your leadership style to the situation. With the ability to inspire others, drive group processes, and strengthen team development, you create engagement and participation. Your communication skills, both verbal and written, enable you to provide clear feedback that strengthens employees' sense of security and independence in their roles. You are skilled at documentation and have good administrative abilities that allow you to structure and prioritize your work effectively. You are familiar with various types of meetings and can take on both a supportive and directive role in collaboration and cooperation with both internal and external partners. You have the ability to create and maintain relationships and see opportunities for improvement in your work. Flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to drive change are qualities that characterize you, and you can quickly adapt to new conditions. A class B driver's license is required. Upon job offer, a certificate from the police criminal record register must be provided.
