Home Care Services is an important part of the Social Services Department, with a clear mission to create security, independence, and quality of life for people in their own homes. Our geographic area covers Northern Visby and extends up to Väskinde. We have approximately 30 employees distributed across two teams, each with a team leader, with each team consisting of around 15 employees. We are a committed and competent work group with extensive experience and a strong team spirit. The role of team leader has been created to strengthen operational support to unit managers and enable close leadership in combination with strategic business development. We are now seeking a team leader on a permanent position. Your responsibilities As a team leader, you have a central role in leading, coordinating, and developing daily work in the operations. You are responsible for planning and staffing the operations based on clients' approved services and ensuring that staffing is both economically and occupationally sustainable. The role includes close collaboration with clients, relatives, healthcare providers, benefits coordinators, and other relevant actors, both within and outside the organization. You have a special responsibility for ensuring that clients receive the right support based on their needs and that operations are conducted with good quality and continuity. You are also responsible for receiving and planning the start of new and modified assignments as well as for administrative tasks related to employment, qualifications, purchases, and invoice management. An important part of the role is to coordinate and administer unit-wide initiatives, such as training, surveys, and meetings, as well as to contribute to well-functioning and structured operations. As support to the unit manager, you participate in planning and implementing joint activities and actively contribute to the development of operations. You follow up on operations based on established goals and help ensure that working methods and services maintain high quality. For the position of team leader in home care services, the starting salary range is 33,958-37,634 kronor per month. We apply individual salary setting. Final salary is determined based on education, relevant experience, competence, and responsibility in the role as well as in accordance with applicable collective agreements. Who are you? We are looking for someone with secondary education, preferably with an administrative focus or from a care and welfare program. Post-secondary education, for example in social work, leadership, or other relevant areas, is meritorious. A category B driver's license is a requirement for the position. We see that you have experience in team leadership as well as staffing and scheduling. You have also worked with planning or logistics and are used to creating structure in an operation with many parallel tasks. You work in a structured and efficient manner even during periods of high workload. When the pace is slower, you are proactive and see opportunities to plan ahead and stay one step ahead in your work. You have very good computer skills. You are flexible and can adapt to the operations' varying needs. You are goal- and results-oriented and driven by achieving both individual and shared goals. At the same time, you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team, and you have empathetic abilities that allow you to understand and meet both employees' and clients' needs in a respectful manner. You are clear in your verbal communication and can build trust when meeting with both the team and clients. Structured planning, follow-up, and prioritization of work tasks come naturally to you.
