We are looking for an engaged and inspiring qualified Physical Education teacher on a full-time permanent contract!
Internationale Engelska Skolan Huddinge has 500 students in grades 6-9. The school is bilingual with instruction in both Swedish and English, and you will be part of a very strong teaching collective. We are located between Visättra and Solgård in Huddinge, Stockholm, an area undergoing significant development.
We are looking for someone with experience as a PE teacher and great enthusiasm for your subject, excellent leadership both in the classroom and in sports contexts, and a genuine interest in student well-being. PE teachers are also central to our well-developed student support work and offer many different activities including participation in various sports competitions with other IES schools.
If you have a Swedish teaching qualification and can demonstrate excellent academic credentials, this is highly valued!

Your Assignment
✔ You need to be qualified and competent to teach PE and Health in grades 4-9. Experience in independently planning, evaluating student knowledge, preferably using portfolio methods, and extensive experience in grading are valued.
✔ PE teachers plan together and lead our outdoor days, including our annual ski trip to Romme!
You will be part of a year-based work team and a subject team to follow academic progress and ensure student well-being. We are looking for a positive and creative team player who looks for solutions, shares ideas, and is open to learning from others. The role also includes mentoring 16 students.

The position is full-time during the spring term, and for a qualified PE teacher, there are opportunities for permanent employment in the fall.
