Taxi Driver in Service Traffic in Uppsala
In preparation for the start of traffic on November 2, 2026, we at Västanhede Trafik in Uppsala are looking for someone interested in working as a service driver in service traffic.
The positions may include full-time, part-time, or on-call employment depending on the company's needs.
About the Role
As a service driver at Västanhede, you'll meet people of different ages with different needs. We provide transportation for school services, special transport services, and medical transport, where safety, service, and professional conduct are in focus.
We assist passengers in and out of vehicles and use equipment such as stairlifts or stretchers for certain routes. Traffic runs around the clock, and our routes take us both within and outside the county's borders, from private homes to medical facilities and schools.
We're Looking for You
To thrive in the role of service driver, we believe you are service-oriented, responsible, and social. You have a good ability to meet people where they are in life, from children to retirees.
The work involves active work where equipment such as stairlifts and stretchers are used for certain tasks, which requires that you're not hesitant to help where needed.
To be qualified for the position, you need to:
Have a valid taxi driver license
Have a good command of Swedish in speech and writing
Be flexible and have good interpersonal skills
Training and driver certification will be conducted before the start of traffic for drivers who are selected for assignments.
