Your Workplace
At Folktandvården Norrstrand, we work with a 7-19 schedule, alternating between morning and afternoon shifts. We are 29 employees at the clinic, and there is always someone to ask for advice. We help each other and have a good atmosphere. We care for and treat approximately 9,500 patients of all ages, both adults and children.
Development opportunities with us are excellent, and you have the opportunity to express your preferences for areas of work that interest you. We have several experienced colleagues interested in various areas of dentistry. We accept new patients directly and we always strive to continue improving our workflow and doing our best with the patient at the center.
We have a microscope cabinet and nitrous oxide equipment at the clinic.
Your Responsibilities
With us, you will have a varied and stimulating job that mainly consists of assistance, sterilization, and reception work. If interested, there are also opportunities for own areas of responsibility, for example within prophylaxis with your own patients and other delegated tasks such as taking impressions.
The tasks vary within both adult and pediatric dentistry. It is important to us that our customers feel satisfied after a visit, and therefore we place great emphasis on service and patient interaction. If you are early in your career, you will receive good support from your new colleagues. Additionally, we give you a good start to your new career through Folktandvården's comprehensive introduction program that combines theory with practical work.
Your Knowledge and Competencies
We are looking for you with a dental hygienist diploma. As a person, you are service-oriented, flexible, and have a positive approach toward both patients and colleagues. You enjoy working both independently and in a team, take responsibility for your tasks, and have the ability to adapt to a varying workday.
About Us
Folktandvården Värmland is part of Region Värmland and has 17 general dentistry clinics distributed across 24 different units – from Sysslebäck in the north to Säffle in the southwest. Additionally, there are clinics within all specialist areas that treat patients by referral. We are a forward-thinking organization with quality and competence in focus. Approximately 560 people work with us, together having extensive and broad experience in promoting better oral and dental health.
