Main Duties and Responsibilities At Folktandvården's emergency dental care in Gothenburg, you will meet patients of all ages with diverse care needs. As a dentist with us, you play an important role in making patients feel well-received and secure during their visit. You will use your full range of competencies at the same time and must be experienced in emergency dental care, while the position also demands creativity, empathy, and service orientation. The position includes, among other things: Working both independently and together with your colleagues in the treatment room Working with adult recall patients including preventive dental care patients Emergency dental care work Working with referred patients, such as dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery, and prosthodontics We accept referrals for dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery, and prosthodontics. Working hours are Monday to Friday with one scheduled evening. We currently have a total of about 30 employees at our large clinic with 10 treatment rooms. Feel free to read more about our opening hours and how to find us: Emergency Dental Care, Gothenburg – Folktandvården Västra Götaland - Folktandvården Required Qualifications and Profile Licensed dentist with several years of experience Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care Swedish language proficiency equivalent to Swedish upper secondary school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form Ability to organize and prioritize work in an efficient and thoughtful manner Ability to project a calm and stable impression even when busy Ability to make quick decisions and work with delegation Ability to collaborate and relate to other people in a responsive manner Contribute to the development of the operation by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work You are interested in emergency dental care, dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery, and prosthodontics, and experience in one or more of these areas is advantageous. About the Recruitment Process After the application deadline, the clinic manager will select applicants and invite them to an interview at the clinic. HR will also invite you to a supplementary digital interview. These interviews are planned for weeks 41-42. If you are an applicant with education/degree from another EU/EEA country than Sweden and lack references, supplementary theoretical and clinical work samples may be required as part of the recruitment process.
