Your Workplace Skoghall is one of Folktandvården Värmland's larger clinics and has twelve treatment rooms. You'll work with a cheerful group of helpful colleagues who enjoy developing together. If you are new to your profession, there is a mentorship plan for your first year. The work team consists of 31 employees and we treat approximately 5,000 adult patients and 4,000 children and young people. The clinic offers nitrous oxide treatment, is a referral point for surgery, and we also provide dental care at the elderly care facility in the municipality. We work according to the work schedule 7 to 19. Hammarö is a growing municipality, and as a result we need to meet the demand for care and create good workflows in the work we conduct. This means that innovative ideas about how we can work in our daily operations is a natural dialogue in everyday life and at our workplace meetings. Your Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include all tasks within the dental hygienist profession. This means that as a dental hygienist you treat your own patients in pediatric and adult dentistry with examinations, disease-treating measures, and preventive dental care. You will work in a team with dentists and dental nurses. Team dentistry includes joint examinations, impressions, filling therapy and more, and there are also good opportunities for development and expanded responsibilities. We collaborate with the municipality's schools and elderly care through external activities including education and outreach. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for you who are a licensed dental hygienist, and we also welcome those who are near the end of your education to become a licensed dental hygienist. You need to master Swedish in speech and writing. To thrive with us you are engaged and have a will and ability to help others. You are accommodating in your interactions and adapt easily to changed circumstances. You plan and organize your work in a structured way and ensure the best interests of the operation in your actions and decisions.
