We are now seeking a dental hygienist who wants to make a difference
Main responsibilities and duties
At Folktandvården Axel, you meet patients of all ages with many different care needs. As a dental hygienist with us, you play an important role in ensuring that patients feel well-received and secure during their visits. You will use your full range of expertise while the position also requires creativity, empathy, and a service-oriented mindset.
The position includes, among other things:
Being an important part of the clinic's health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages
Working with your own examinations and identifying, assessing, and planning appropriate oral health care interventions

Required qualifications and profile
Licensed dental hygienist
Interest in both pediatric and adult dental care
Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish secondary education or Swedish C1 in both speaking and writing
Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently and wisely
Capacity to project a stable and calm demeanor even during busy periods
Ability to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive manner
Contribute to the development of operations by actively participating in the clinic's improvement work.
If you are new to the profession, you will receive an individually designed mentoring program during your first year. The mentoring is part of our development program, which also includes networking meetings, team and communication training, and clinical observation at specialist or general dental care clinics.
About the recruitment process
The first step in the recruitment process is a digital interview with HR. After the application deadline, the clinic manager will select applicants and invite them for interviews at the clinic. These interviews are scheduled for weeks 39-40.
Folktandvården Västra Götalandsregionen conducts background checks in suspicion and burden registers before employment.
