Our clinic is growing and we are now looking for a new physician colleague! We are hiring a specialist as we work toward our goal of reducing the number of patients per physician. Täby vårdcentral is a region-run health center with just over 12,700 registered patients located in central Täby, approximately 20 minutes from T-centralen, with good transportation connections. We are an established and stable health center with 9 general medicine specialists, ST physicians, AT physicians, DSK, SSK and USK, Physical Therapist, and a psychosocial team and Rehabilitation Coordinator. We offer our patients good accessibility and quality, and we work in well-functioning teams around many diagnostic groups such as diabetes, mental health, sick leave, frail elderly, pain, asthma/COPD, dementia. Our home care patients are cared for by a team consisting of a geriatrician, DSK, SSK and USK. We are one of four health centers in Stockholm that also offers SMO services. SMO is a team clinic that provides specialized care to patients with functional disabilities. We offer varied work with acute and chronic diseases, preventive measures regarding lifestyle habits, and patients of all ages. Patients have a wide variety of diseases and problems. The work requires broad expertise and independence. As a general medicine specialist with us, you work both individually with your patients and in teams with all our different professional categories. We care about a reasonable work environment and good patient safety and work to ensure all specialists have a manageable patient list. Mentoring future colleagues is a matter of course for you. You will mentor students, AT and ST physicians and support other professional categories in medical assessments. We actively use digital communication tools and parts of the work can be done remotely. Qualifications: Specialist in general medicine with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Experience as a qualified specialist and having worked in Swedish healthcare, preferably primary care, is an advantage. Experience with the TakeCare medical records system is an advantage.
