As one of our assistance coordinators will be acting as a development manager, we are now seeking an engaged assistance coordinator for a temporary position for 12 months with the possibility of extension. Welcome to submit your application. About the job Your work as an assistance coordinator is meaningful and multifaceted. In dialogue with the individual, guardians, and representative/administrator, you will work to find the best solution for each individual. As an assistance coordinator in the unit, you receive applications, conduct investigations and assessments, and make decisions on services. When decisions to approve are made, regular individual follow-ups are conducted to monitor ongoing services. Your work is based on both the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SoL). In your work, you will collaborate with colleagues in Täby Municipality and with external partners such as rehabilitation and health, healthcare, psychiatry, schools and preschools, and service providers. The Disability Authority Unit is part of the social care operational area in Täby Municipality. The unit is organized into four groups: intake group, children's group, SoL follow-up, and LSS follow-up. The unit currently has 16 assistance coordinators, two group leaders, one transportation coordinator, one housing coordinator, one family consultant, two administrators, and one unit manager. We are located in modern facilities on Biblioteksgången in Täby center, close to Roslagsbanan and buses. The Disability Authority Unit has implemented IBIC as a working method and continuously develops operations while actively working on the implementation of the new Social Services Act. We are looking for someone who has: Social work degree At least two years of work experience in government authority work within social psychiatry or home care for people under 65 and/or LSS Good computer skills It is advantageous if you have Experience with Pulsen Combine IBIC competence Driver's license As a person, you demonstrate great commitment and interest in the target group and have a structured and independent working style. You are responsible, analytical, flexible, and communicate well in both speech and writing.
