The IT Department's primary task is to provide IT services to the entire Swedish Police Authority. To the Digital Citizen Meeting group, we are now looking for a driven full-stack developer. Our mission is to take overall responsibility for new development and management of the Swedish Police Authority's e-services. The group is responsible for, for example, digital services within crime reporting, extracts from the criminal record register, and the police's "My Pages" where users can access information about their cases with the police. Our vision is to create a digital police station that is always open and always accessible. Job Description We are facing an exciting and eventful time with a lot of new development. As a developer with us, you will be part of a cross-functional agile team that works test-driven and delivers continuously. During development, for example, Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and container platforms are used. We work according to agile principles and you will be part of an engaged team that shares knowledge and helps each other move forward in the work. Your main work tasks will include: Development of completely new systems Improve and upgrade existing systems with new functionality Support users, troubleshooting, and create bug fixes Actively participate in planning and follow-up work Collaborate and communicate with other teams and business representatives Work actively with quality assurance including testing of deliverables Together with the team, work on continuous improvements of our work processes, prioritizations, and contribute to the team's development Qualifications This is an opportunity for you who have: Relevant academic education in IT or equivalent relevant experience that the Swedish Police Authority deems equivalent Several years of recent work experience in systems development in both frontend and backend Can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish Swedish citizenship It is meritorious if you have: Work experience in frontend development with Angular and TypeScript Work experience in Java and Spring Boot in backend Experience developing accessibility-adapted systems Experience with test-driven development Work experience from the public sector or another large, regulated organization Personal Qualities We are looking for you with personal drive who is interested in developing in the role of systems developer.
