Are you a technician with experience in telecommunications security equipment? Swedavia is growing and is now looking for more technicians who want to help ensure stable and secure operations at our airports. What does the role entail?
As a systems technician, you work operationally with maintenance and help maintain a stable and reliable platform for telecommunications security systems, such as camera surveillance and integrated alarm and access systems. You become part of a team under development, which gives you the opportunity to influence working methods and the development of the team's routines.
Your daily tasks:
Perform planned maintenance work, such as battery replacements and replacement of faulty hardware
Participate in facility testing
Troubleshooting and fault rectification
Collaborate with other disciplines within the organization to ensure desired functionality
Update and maintain telecommunications documentation
Contribute with consultative support internally
Business travel and overnight stays may occur as you are responsible for all of Swedavia's airports. On-call duty and shift work are also included to ensure the equipment functions around the clock.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who is independent but also enjoys working in a team. You are adaptable, solution-oriented, and have a structured and thorough work approach. To succeed in the role, we also see that you have:
Technical secondary education or equivalent work experience
At least five years of documented work experience in the installation and commissioning of telecommunications security equipment such as alarms, access systems, and/or camera surveillance systems
Experience performing advanced troubleshooting and fault rectification of telecommunications security equipment
Multiple years of experience with TTLabWest Sentrion Unison and Bosch VMS
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
B-class driver's license, access to a car, and ability to reach the airport within one hour during on-call duty
Good physical condition and mobility, as well as the ability to work at varying heights (e.g., from a ladder)
We consider it advantageous if you have:
Documented security training, such as SSF certifications (qualified engineer for intrusion alarms and/or CCTV) and training in Pacom Unison/Sentrion and Bosch IP camera systems or equivalent
