Role Description We are seeking someone who understands financial processes and has a strong interest in how systems and digital solutions can develop operations. You want to help create efficient, user-friendly, and future-proof support for financial administration processes in a large and complex organization. You will have a central role in developing financial administration processes and system support, with the opportunity to influence both working methods and future solutions. The position combines system administration, operations development, user support, and improvement work. It suits you if you enjoy analyzing, solving problems, and contributing to efficient and user-friendly solutions across the entire organization. The role offers opportunities to develop expertise in system administration, operations development, process design, digitalization, and financial management. You will work in a knowledge-intensive organization with extensive research and educational activities, many users, and advanced financial flows. You will collaborate with economists, systems specialists, IT functions, and operations representatives throughout the organization. You will be part of a team working cohesively with financial systems, financial models, and operational support. Duties In this role, you work closely with both users and systems. You contribute to ensuring that our financial administration processes function efficiently and that systems provide good support for the organization's needs. Your responsibilities include: - Participating in the administration, further development, and quality assurance of financial administration systems - Gathering requirements and conducting dialogue with operations, suppliers, and IT functions - Conducting testing related to system changes and upgrades - Identifying improvement opportunities and developing efficient processes and working methods - Providing operational-level support and ensuring users achieve maximum value from the systems - Planning and implementing training initiatives and developing guides and user documentation - Working with financial models, chart of accounts, and other financial structures - Participating in development and improvement projects Qualifications Required - University degree in economics, systems science, or another relevant field, or equivalent knowledge and experience that the employer deems equivalent - Experience with financial administration processes, particularly accounts payable/receivable and accounting - Experience working in or near business systems, preferably related to digitalization and operations development - Ability to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to developing working methods and processes - Strong collaboration and communication skills - Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing Desirable - Experience with system administration - Experience with requirements management and testing - Experience with project management - Experience translating business needs into effective system support - Experience with user support, training, or support functions - Experience from a university, college, or other large public organization Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You will work in an environment where finance, operations, and systems meet, and where you have the opportunity to influence processes, working methods, and system solutions. The role offers significant scope to influence the development of both processes and system support and to deepen your expertise in system administration, operations development, and digitalization. Other Information The position is a permanent employment with start as soon as possible or by agreement. A trial period may be applied. The university applies individual salary setting. The Economics Section's main task is to provide the university with support for efficient financial administration and meet the need for high-quality financial information to facilitate decision-making within and outside the university. This includes the Economics Section: managing the university's financial model and accounting system, supporting departments in their daily financial management, quality-checking bookkeeping, coordinating year-end closing work, reporting to authorities, preparing financial summaries needed for follow-up and decision-making, providing education and information on financial administration matters. The Economics Section is also responsible for the university's liquidity management, loan management, interest calculation, and foundation and fund management. Additionally, the Economics Section assists the university in procurement matters to create conditions for efficient and rational procurement. The Procurement and Purchasing Department also handles connections related to e-invoicing and e-procurement via Lupin, a system for electronic invoice flows and procurement via web portal.
