Discover a versatile assignment! About the job The Swedish Tax Agency's IT department is one of Sweden's largest with a complex IT environment. We are responsible for operations, management, and development of the Swedish Tax Agency's and our customers' IT systems. The Swedish Tax Agency has received an expanded mandate to provide IT operations services to more government agencies and to deliver an AI workshop for the public sector. We are therefore expanding our team responsible for OpenShift infrastructure. Together with skilled and innovative colleagues, you will contribute to the Swedish Tax Agency's mission of creating social value. You will be part of a team that uses GitOps as a working method for code development and management. You will also work on building automations for self-service, monitoring, and configuration in a multi-cluster environment. In your work, you will use tools such as Helm charts, GitHub, Argo CD, and Vault. The team uses innovation sprints where you together evaluate new products, tools, and working methods. Your responsibilities include cluster management for the Swedish Tax Agency and other OpenShift platform users, as well as active work to strengthen security. Your work also includes participating in design and architecture for the OpenShift platform for the Swedish Tax Agency and other government agencies. You will be part of the Operating Systems Section at the Swedish Tax Agency's Technical Unit (STT) within the IT department, based in Sundbyberg or Gothenburg. In this position, you should: - have good collaboration skills, be helpful, and have good interpersonal skills - have the ability and willingness to learn new things, be flexible, and be open to change - have good problem-solving skills, see patterns, and be able to make clear boundaries - be goal-focused and contribute to achieving the purpose of the organization - act consciously and professionally based on good self-awareness - express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish You should also have: - relevant post-secondary education in IT or current and relevant work experience in the IT field - current and relevant experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift cluster management and administration It is desirable that you have relevant experience with Red Hat OpenShift and that you have worked with automation using Argo CD, GitHub, and/or equivalent tools that the employer deems relevant. It is also desirable that you have relevant experience working according to GitOps. Good to know The position is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision is made. Some of our positions in security classifications require Swedish citizenship.
