About the Workplace You will be based in the Digitalization Unit in bright and well-appointed facilities at Ängås School in Svanesund. The unit's main mission is to provide a secure and well-functioning IT environment to all sectors of the municipality. The unit consists of 14 employees and we are in an intensive development phase where our Digital Agenda and the political mandate to "All operations work to be at the forefront of technological development" are in focus. Your Responsibilities Provide technical support to the systems manager and operations, such as during procurement and implementation of systems Initiate troubleshooting during operational disruptions and take necessary measures and document them Contribute to the systems owner's task in working on the technical aspects of the business system's continuity plan Participate in the municipality's information and cybersecurity efforts and help translate cybersecurity law/NIS2 requirements into practical technical measures Documentation of systems, configurations, dependencies, and technical solutions About You We are looking for a dedicated and driven systems administrator who wants to maintain and participate in the development of our digital solutions in Orust Municipality. You will be one of four systems administrators where the role involves close contact with the municipality's sectors, systems managers, users, and external suppliers. The systems administrator serves as technical support in the implementation and management of business systems, troubleshooting, change management, risk assessments, and security matters. As a systems administrator in the Digitalization Unit, you work broadly with operations and development of the municipality's IT environment. We are Looking for Someone Who Has Relevant post-secondary education in digitalization and IT or documented knowledge in the field acquired in other ways Experience in systems administration and IT environment operations Experience with Windows Server, SQL Server, and Active Directory Knowledge in troubleshooting, incident management, monitoring, and system integrations Ability to work independently and in a team Strong communication skills in speech and writing Meritorious Experience Includes Knowledge of politically governed operations and work within the municipal sector Cybersecurity, information security, and data protection (GDPR), as well as NIS2 and cybersecurity law Process-oriented working methods Management of email filters Experience with the TEIS integration engine PKI certificate management Beyond the above, we place great importance on you being pedagogical in your communication, that you have good collaboration skills, and that you work on building relationships both internally and externally, as the key to success for the sector is collaboration.
