Location: Braås Start: Immediate Assignment length: Fixed-term employment for 6 months with good opportunities for extension Scope: Full-time About the welder position As a welder at Volvo CE, you'll be an important part of the production of high-quality frames and components for the company's world-leading dump trucks. You work in a modern industrial environment where quality, safety, and efficiency are central parts of daily operations. In this role, you will perform welding according to drawings and work instructions and ensure that manufactured components meet high quality standards. The work is carried out both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues in production. Examples of work tasks: Welding of components and structures according to drawings and instructions Quality control of welded parts Blueprint reading and working from technical documents Post-processing and inspection measurements of manufactured products Handling of materials and components in production Contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-organized workplace Collaboration with colleagues and other functions in production Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with welding education and experience in welding work within industry or workshops. You are meticulous, quality-conscious, and have a strong focus on safety. Furthermore, you enjoy working both independently and together with others to achieve common goals. Requirements for the position Welding education Welding experience Good skills in blueprint reading Complete upper secondary school diploma Fluent Swedish in speech and writing Category B driving license and access to a car It is considered a merit if you have forklift and/or overhead crane certification.
