We are currently seeking experienced welders for upcoming assignments within industry and manufacturing in Halland. This position is ideal for you if you have good technical understanding, are quality-conscious, and thrive in a production environment where precision, attention to detail, and safety are paramount.
Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will work with welding and joining various types of steel structures and components. The type of production may vary depending on the client. Work is typically done based on drawings and technical documentation and may include assembly, joint preparation, welding, grinding, post-processing, as well as inspection and quality assurance of finished parts. You will work both independently and together with colleagues in the production team.
The work may involve various welding methods such as MIG/MAG, TIG, and MMA, depending on the project and material. Experience with welding black steel, stainless steel, and aluminum is a plus.
Possible Tasks:
• Perform welding work (MIG, MAG, and/or TIG)
• Manufacture and assemble different metal structures according to drawings
• Repair and maintenance as well as quality control of materials
• Use various types of drilling, milling, and assembly equipment
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with experience in welding within industry or manufacturing who is accustomed to working from drawings. You have good material knowledge and an eye for quality. It is important that you are responsible, detail-oriented, and have a strong safety mindset.
Requirements:
• Experience with welding in industry/manufacturing
• Knowledge of blueprint reading
• Experience with one or more welding methods (MIG/MAG, TIG, or MMA)
• Good Swedish language skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
Valid welding certifications and experience with hoists or forklifts.
• Training as an industrial worker, welder, or similar
