Start: Immediately Assignment: 6 months fixed-term employment with possibility of extension Location: Umeå Work hours: Shift work About the welder position As a welder for our client, you'll be an important part of production in a role that places great emphasis on quality and problem-solving. You'll work in a modern industrial environment where quality, safety, and efficiency are central to daily operations. In this role, you'll perform welding and sheet metal work according to drawings and work instructions to ensure that manufactured components meet high quality standards. Sometimes, clever solutions are needed to solve the toughest problems. The work is carried out both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues in production. Examples of work tasks: Welding of components and structures according to drawings and instructions Quality inspection of welded parts Addressing quality issues through sheet metal work Post-processing of manufactured products Handling of materials and components in production Contributing to a safe, efficient, and well-organized workplace Collaboration with colleagues and other functions in production Who are we looking for? We're looking for someone who ideally has training in welding and sheet metal work, and experience with welding in industry or workshop settings. However, if you're a handy person with good experience in welding and sheet metal work, you could still be the right candidate for us. We prefer someone who is thorough, quality-conscious, and has a strong safety mindset. Furthermore, you should be comfortable working both independently and with others to achieve common goals.
