As a welder for our client, you'll have a varied role in a production environment where quality, safety, and precision are central. This position is a consulting assignment through Lernia, with placement in Gislaved and surrounding areas.
About the Role
You will work with welding components and structures according to drawings and work orders. Tasks include preparations such as bending and grinding, welding in various positions, as well as quality checks and documentation of completed work. The role requires you to follow safety procedures and contribute to efficient and quality-conscious production.
Your Responsibilities
Welding according to specifications (MIG/MAG, TIG, and/or MMA depending on assignment)
Interpret drawings and work instructions
Preparation and finishing of welded parts (cleaning, grinding, and inspection)
Quality control and documentation of completed work
Collaboration with the production team to ensure delivery schedules
Comply with workplace and safety regulations
About You – Required Qualifications
We're looking for someone with experience in industrial welding who can demonstrate high quality in their work. You should have relevant welding training or equivalent practical experience. You can work independently and as part of a team, are thorough, and have a good eye for detail.
Desirable Qualifications
It's an advantage if you have:
Welding certification in MIG/MAG, TIG, or MMA
Experience welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
Knowledge of welding protocols and quality systems
Forklift certification or experience operating basic workshop equipment
Class B driver's license
